Pancakes, Planes, and look at that…

He might be talking about this one for awhile. The boys went to a Pancake Breakfast at the Ann Arbor Airport (Hosted by the EAA).

Planes you can sit in, a helicopter taking off and landing, a few classic cars, and did I mention the pancake part. This might have been little boy heaven, we were surrounded by boys ages 0 to 80, most were smiling, the ones that weren’t were standing with mouths agape.

So, a fun outing right? And then, do you have any idea what pulled onto the tarmac?
Look at that…

Not kidding, in the span of two hours, The Bean got to eat a pile of pancakes, sit in the cockpit of a plane, watch a helicopter take off and land, watch a plane take off, ride a pedal car plane, and not just stand on, but climb around inside an actual fire engine.

Dinosaur Skeletons (and some owls)

Went to the UM Natural History Museum over the weekend. Our first encounter with full size dinosaurs (well, their fossils anyway) seemed to leave quite an impression. You should hear him say “mastadon”, otherwise known as “the two things with the big tusks”.
